Key and Access Policy
How Melva's Cleaning Co. handles home access, keys, alarm codes and lockboxes.
Access options we accept
Our team can enter your home in whichever way feels safest for you. Common options include being home to let us in, a lockbox or smart lock code, leaving a key with a trusted neighbour or concierge, or a garage code. Tell us your preference on the booking form.
How we protect your keys and codes
Keys and access codes are kept secure and are only used by the cleaner assigned to your home. We do not share access details with anyone outside your assigned team.
Lockouts
If our team arrives and cannot access the property, we will try to contact you right away. A lockout fee may apply to compensate cleaners for transit time.
